Subscription Nation: December Ipsy Glam Bag
Twinkling lights and silver bells – Christmas was so glam and fun and… it’s now over. Excuse me while I cry a bit in the corner and mourn the loss of our holiday celebrations. But even though the holiday season is over, there are still some things to enjoy such as last month’s Ipsy Glam Bag. The bag itself was super cute – all silver and sparkly and glam. It really fit the Ipsy theme.
The items were also all really wonderful! But with a theme like Snow Globe, how could it be bad?
You can give me sheet masks anytime. I haven’t met a sheet mask that I don’t like and this brand does not disappoint. It has a whole bunch of goodies in it – ingredients that will make your skin glow for days on end. These masks are worth $8 each and two came in the bag – so that’s awesome!
Smashbox is one of my absolute fave brands. Their makeup is always flawless on. While my collection of eyeliners has drastically increased since starting the Ipsy bags, I can’t say that I’m majorly disappointed with the addition to my collection. It goes on really smoothly and looks gorgeous on. Retail value of about $13.50.
Liquid lipsticks are so fun to use mostly because they’re such a breeze to put on. And this shade that Ipsy created with OFRA is just the best. I could wear this everyday, all day – and I could because it’s just so long lasting. It’s pretty close to a full-size, which was also nice. Retail value is about $16.65.
These eyeshadow colors just make me all heart-eyed. The peachy champagne and vivid plum are the perfect combo that transitions over really well into the spring. Plus, they look great with my hair color and that’s a major plus. Add water to add some extra enhancement! The retail value is about $3.15.
Honestly, is there any other color that was perfect for the holidays? I could not hide the excitement I felt at seeing this nail polish in my December bag. The only downside was that it started cracking after the first day, so it didn’t stay on for long (cue the tears). Retail value is about $7.20.
Overall, this bag was worth about $56.50 – one of the better bags in terms of value. All of the products were great and I’ll be using them all through the spring.
