Subscription Nation: October Ipsy Glam Bag

I don’t have to wait for the witching hour to be spellbound by this month’s Ipsy bag. This month is all about switching things up and having fun with your makeup and beauty routines.

The Ipsy bag this month fits the mysterious feels of October with lace in witchy crimson. It’s an adorable bag and, just like last month’s bag, it would be a perfect clutch.

While I wasn’t as psyched about the contents of my bag this month, I did get some great name brand products and probably my favorite shade of nail polish thus far (hint: it’s green).

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion

Another month, another black eyeliner. This Urban Decay eyeliner is absolutely wonderful. It glides on like nobody’s business. It also stays on really well – took a bit of scrubbing to get it off of my hand when I tried it on. And it really is a deep black. Absolutely perfect for some cat eyes or witchy looks for Halloween! Value is about $15.

tarte deluxe lights, camera, lashes 4-in-1 mascara

tarte has become a fave of mine and this mascara was no exception! It goes on really thick, volumizing my eyelashes and totally giving me a bold look. Plus, it’s vegan! It has a value of $9.85.

Marc Anthony Hydrating Coconut Oil & Shea Butter Oil Treatment

My hair has needed a little pick-me-up, so I was excited to see that this product was in my bag this month. Anything coconut oil makes me happy. I haven’t used this yet, but I’ve heard good things about the Marc Anthony brand and received great feedback from others on this product. Value is about $1.20.

Dermelect Cosmeceuticals ‘Me’ in Verdure

Green is my favorite color, so I was super excited when I got this nail polish. The hunter green is perfect for the fall. The polish looks really great on and has peptides infused in it to help strengthen your nails. Chic and beneficial? That’s what I’m talking about! Plus, it’s full-size with a value of $14.

Luna by Luna Cosmetics Lip Crayon in Elara

Another cruelty free product! The shade of this lip crayon is just gorgeous – and it looks great on! The formula is moisturizing, which is the only thing any girl can ask for. This product is also full size, with a value of $18.

The value for this month’s glam bag was totally fantastic. Overall, it was about $58 worth of products and that’s not even including the cute crimson bag. I’ve been super pleased with the products as well. I can’t wait to see what November brings!
