Subscription Nation: September Ipsy Glam Bag
Like. A. Boss.
Could you think of a more perfect theme? I’ve made it my life’s mission to be my best self and work to get to where I want to be. Being a boss babe is the best way to do this! Which is why the theme this month just kinda fit perfectly with everything that’s been going on for me this year.
The bag is super cute and chic – black with stud texture on it. Perfect for a boss babe to carry her makeup or to take out as a fun clutch.
This month I got super lucky with the contents of my bag. Basically, everything that I’d hoped to get is what ended up coming in the mail. So I definitely give 11 out of 10 stars for Ipsy this month!
I’ve gotten a Luxie brush in a previous bag and loved it, so it was nice to see another one coming my way. The blush pink is a nice color and adds a bit of pop to my brush collection. Plus, with a retail value of $12, this item already paid for the bag (that’s what I’m talking about!).
From the moment I saw this product in the September reveals, I was hoping that it would be in my bag. The color is absolutely spectacular – bright, bubbly, and fun! While it would have been great to have for the summer season, it’ll be fun to brighten up the usual dark tones of fall and winter with this shade. I love the matte finish! It has a retail value of $5.
If you’ve been reading all of my Ipsy posts these past couple of months, you’ve probably seen me complain a few times about getting just black eyeliners. I mean, come on, there’s only so many black eyeliners that I need to own. Owning a large variety of them is only wasteful. So you can bet I was psyched when I opened the bag to find out that this was not only a fun color, but also that it was jade (green is my fave color)! It has a retail value of $4.
This eyeshadow is super striking in a steel grey. I’m super excited to try it out with a smoky eye, because I think it’s going to look quite sharp. It’s not a full-size, but it should last me for a while. Retail value of about $4.50.
Yay for masks! Charlotte Cho, founder of SOKO Glam, partnered with Ipsy this month – a reason for us all to be excited. I knew there was a possibility of me getting some great face masks again, so I was happy to see that become an actual thing. I haven’t tried any of these masks yet, but I don’t need to for me to know that my skin is going to love them. Retail value of about $6 for the set.
Overall, a great month in products for me with Ipsy! While the overall value wasn’t as great as some of the other months (about $31.50 in total), this was probably one of my faves.

Now, please excuse me while I go play with my makeup and get all prettied up.
