OOTD: Slimming, Breezy, Transformable Dress

IMG_0114

This is one of my favorite dresses; I’ll wear it to nearly anything.  Dinner dates, walks through the park, or as a casual, summer dress.  It can be played up or dressed down with shoes and accessories; its ability to transform into the look I’m going for is why I love it so much.

As you may know, I struggle with finding clothing that fits well and am always on the lookout for the perfect dress that is petite enough in the bust to fit my small chest.  I’ve mentioned before in my tips for dressing a smaller chest that sometimes its worth it to shell out the extra cash to get an outfit altered.  This dress was one of those occasions for me.  I tried it on in the fitting room, and, as expected, it was extremely loose in the bust, but I loved the way it fitted me in my waist.  So the money spent altering it was well spent! I can wear it to almost any event I want!

This loose fitted dress is quite short, stopping at about mid-thigh on me, and I’m no giraffe, making this dress fun and giving me a chance to show off some leg.  But it isn’t too short to be considered raunchy, which as I get older, am starting to stray away from more and more.  This dress is fitted very well in the waist with a natural flare outwards, meaning this dress is slimming and gives me the curves I don’t have! I’m actually amazed at how well this dress hides that extra tummy fat that I hate; I don’t even have to suck it in!

All in all, this is one of my favorite outfits that I had to share. Share with me your favorite outfits either in the comments below or tweet them at us!

I’ll see you next week!

With love,

Meagan
