Easter Inspiration: OOTD + LOTD
With Easter tomorrow, I felt like dressing up in the holiday spirit and trying some of my new makeup! I based all of the colors off the cute top that I decided to wear – a bright salmon orange.
My makeup routine started off as any should – a quick cleansing followed up by toner, serum, and moisturizer for the skin. I decided to test out a new foundation primer sample that I got from my favorite makeup counter at Nordstrom: Smashbox!
It’s called Photo Finish Radiance Primer ($39) and it gives your skin a super nice glow. I’m absolutely loving how bright my skin looked after applying this.
Afterward, I used my Camera Ready BB Water. This product is super light and it hardly feels like I ever have it on!
I was super excited to work on my eyes – especially because it was time to break out this absolutely GORGEOUS Urban Decay palette my mother got me last month. This Alice Through the Looking Glass palette has all the colors that I want – especially some of those warm terracotta shades that are in right now.
I went very simple with the colors for my eyes – a base coat of Looking Glass and Paradox on top of that. I finished it up with a small amount of Dormouse on the inside corner of my eyes.
My look is never complete without using my Tinted Brow Gel from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I also got to play around with the contour kit my mom just got me from Ulta.
The final look – finished with the metallic lip I wrote about last week – turned out pretty well and was just perfect for my outfit of the day.
As I mentioned earlier, I picked out a cute salmon off-the-shoulder top from Abercrombie & Fitch for today’s central piece. I love this top because it’s light and airy – plus the lace at the bottom is just so dainty! It’s perfectly me.
This outfit is perfect for Easter weekend, or just perfect for spring in general! What fun outfits are you wearing this weekend, dear readers? Please share and comment below!
