Otherwise known as heaven on a plate. I’m salivating just thinking about it.

Seriously, this meal was absolutely divine and I was a little shocked that I was able to make something so delicious. Maybe it’s just the ingredients that are sent with the HelloFresh boxes or the easy cooking instructions. Either way, this meal gets a 10/10 stars from me.

There aren’t too many different products being thrown into this recipe. Zucchini, potatoes, onion, pork… The sauce to cover the finished meal had garlic, butter, demi-glace, and water. Preparation was really quick and easy. Though, I did officially learn exactly how horrible cutting onions is. There were tears, y’all.

The only part that probably gave me difficulties was making sure the pork was fully cooked through. My fire alarm likes to go off really easily when I use the oven, so I pulled the meat out a little early because I didn’t want the vegetables to burn even a little. I just cut the pork up a little more and put it back on the stove to cook all the way through.

As an onion-hater, I obvs didn’t eat those but I cooked them anyway. Since my first box, however, I’ve come to realize that I have a passion for zucchini so I was thrilled to have that as a part of this meal. The flavor mixed really well with the pork and sauce. Not sure if I put too much olive oil in the pan or it was because I pulled it out of the oven early, but they weren’t crispy like I had imagined they should have been after roasting. Still delicious, though.

So far, I’m continuing to be impressed with HelloFresh, but I have my last box coming to me this Wednesday (using up my last $20 credit!). There are some fun meals in that one – I’m especially looking forward to the Hunan Cumin Beef Stir-Fry. I’ll be sure to share my favorite once I’ve gone through all of the recipes.
