Valentine’s Day Outfit Vibes

So we’re (practically) halfway through February. It’s crazy. But you know what that means?

Valentine’s Day.

I’m not sure if you dread or look forward to the holiday, but either way it means you’re surrounded by hearts wherever you go as well as shades of pink and red. There is no escaping it.

I am not ashamed to admit that I have been forever single, so Valentine’s Day has never held any symbolic meaning to me for a relationship. It’s still fun to celebrate with friends and family, dressing up and exchanging cute presents.

I took the opportunity this weekend to throw out some Valentine’s Day vibes with my work outfit. This bright pink top is one of my faves – I grabbed it on a business trip in Florida (over a year ago) at a little boutique literally right outside of my hotel.

Curls are super classy and I felt really helped to give the outfit the right look and feel for the holiday. I call these my “Second Day Curls” – I absolutely love curls the day after they were done. Loosely tie them up and add a cute flower or bow to give it some character.

Just look at that butterfly! <3

The lipstick I wore really popped too – it’s Publicist by Smashbox and is just the brightest shade of pink. I absolutely adore it but don’t wear it often. Luckily, it’s just perfect for this outfit!

I don’t have a good picture of the full skirt on me, but it’s this really cute maxi skirt that is just super light and airy. I love getting the chance to wear this because it really enhances whatever top I throw together with it.

Honestly, there are so many fun outfits that could be planned for Valentine’s Day! Red and pink outfits, lacey dresses, off-the-shoulder tops, loose and flowy maxi dresses… Choose something that feels right for you and add your own flare to it.

So, dear readers, what are you planning to wear tomorrow?
